There is no riding involved but learners have experiences with horses, such as grooming, leading and taking part in team building exercises along with exercises such as choosing a horse to say hello to which allows learners to think about how they make choices. Bodster has received funding from Aiming High to offer subsidised courses as a short break for youngsters with complex needs. Bodster has also received funding from the Community Adult Learning to offer courses for learners 19+ with poor literacy and numeracy to achieve an NOCN qualification.
