A BBC film crew spent this morning with Hovertravel and Senior Captain Barrie Jehan filming for their series celebrating the 
Travelling onboard Hovertravel’s 130 seater craft ‘Solent Express’ during the busy service, the team filmed the operation to and from the Isle of Wight and interviewed Captain Jehan about his 41 years working at Hovertravel, the success of Hovertravel’s service and the hovercraft as a unique mode of transport to reach the Island.Country Tracks is a weekly programme which features journey’s through rural Britain.
