Isle of Wight Cycling Festival Ride to Dinosaur Isle Sandown

Meet at Shanklin Esplanade with your bicycle for a fossil walk on the beach, then afterwards cycle to Dinosaur Isle along the shore road. Passing two of the hotels that Charles Darwin stayed in during 1859 to start ‘On the Origin of Species’.

Booking essential - low introductory price for the combined fossil walk and entry to Dinosaur Isle for those who have booked.

Roadway and revetment cycling.  Lock your bikes up at Shanklin Esplanade,  near the Lazy Waves Cafe, then off to the beach on foot for the fossil walk.

Adults £5, kids (ages 3 to 15) £3, Family group (2+2) £14.50 Concession (pensioner/student) £4.
