Ingenious, Dippy Family Fun at Quay Arts

by Polly on May 13, 2009

PottedPirates 2 Ingenious, Dippy Family Fun at Quay Arts Quay Arts are offering families the chance to catch the latest offering from the CBBC’s newest presenters Dan and Jeff who return to Quay Arts this season with Potted Pirates on Saturday, 16 May 2pm & 4:30pm.

They take the audience on a search for talking parrots and mysterious buried treasure! On the way they’ll be telling tall tales of the seven seas, from Long John Silver to Blackbeard, plus a couple of notorious lady pirates.

Dan and Jeff’s new show also features a full-scale re-enactment of the Spanish Armada. Will Dan persuade Jeff to let him play Jack Sparrow? And how will Jeff keep things ship-shape with that scallywag Dan aboard?

A show for everyone age six and over – even those who don’t know their skull and crossbones from their pieces of eight.

‘A fabulously funny parody from a classic double act, with serious Jeff taking the Ernie Wise role and silly Dan as a latterday Eric Morecambe.’ The Daily Telegraph

‘Gloriously irreverent lovable romp.’ Time Out
